John Lennon T-Shirt - Bermuda Tee worn by John Lennon.
In July 1980, John Lennon sailed to Bermuda with a five member crew on his 63-foot yacht, Isis. Music seemed the farthest thing from his mind. He hadn't released an album in 5 years. But the trip turned into one of Lennon's most fruitful periods as a songwriter since the Beatles broke up.
The inspiration came from an odd source. "I was at a dance club one night in Bermuda. I heard Rock Lobster by the B-52s for the first time. I thought, This sounds just like Yoko's music”. A new creative urge was born. In the next 3 weeks, he wrote 'Starting Over', 'Woman', 'Watching the Wheels', and more than 20 other songs.
